Functions at the King's Head
A room with its own bar, a kitchen behind it and a long garden outside, in the middle of Dereham. For weddings, wakes and everything in between.
The Cowper Room
Our main function room, named for the poet William Cowper, who lived out his last years in Dereham and lies in St Nicholas' Church up the road.
It's on the ground floor with level access, and opens towards the garden. We'll dress it for the day: long tables for a wedding breakfast, rounds for a dinner dance, rows for a talk, or cleared for a party.

Weddings
Get married at the church or the register office, then walk your guests down Norwich Street to us. Your wedding party can stay over in the rooms upstairs, and breakfast is on us the morning after.
Wakes
We know these are booked at short notice. Call us and we'll find a way to make the room, the tea and the sandwiches work for the day you need.
Meetings
Wi-Fi, a screen, good coffee and lunch brought in. Day rates include the room, refreshments and lunch.
